北海道大樹町旭濱的海岸，保留著太平洋戰爭末期在北海道東部興建的混凝土海岸防禦網的一部分。所謂碉堡（日語稱「トーチカ」），是以混凝土築成、供機槍等火器自射孔向外射擊的小型掩蔽陣地。依大樹町觀光介紹的說法，1944年前後第七師團將據點移往帶廣，為防備美軍可能自太平洋沿岸登陸，這一帶的碉堡（トーチカ）工事隨之加緊興建。這些陣地最終並未投入實戰，但從射孔的方向、各碉堡之間的間距以及面向海岸的配置，仍可理解當時預定的灘岸防禦方式。
除了海濱的遺構之外，旭濱另有一座保存狀況良好的碉堡。它是2008年9月在町有林進行林業作業時重新被發現的，其後由町政府整備周邊並加以保存。這座碉堡平面呈八角形，設有兩個射孔，北側與東側各一；南側的入口通道刻意轉折，一般認為是為了阻擋爆風。依町方說明，碉堡高約3.5公尺，混凝土牆最厚處達1.8公尺。
海灘上的遺構與林地內的碉堡不可混為一談。前者長年受到海岸侵蝕，其中有些被認為原本築於上方的海岸階地，後來因崖面後退而跌落到沙灘上；後者則在林中維持較完整的形狀。本條目地圖所標示的，是觀光單位公布的碉堡群代表位置，並非每一座遺構各自的座標。
到訪者可以觀察殘存的混凝土外形、射孔，以及碉堡與海岸地形之間的關係；內部能否進入，在此並未確認。官方導覽也提醒，海濱為鬆軟沙地，車輛駛入可能陷入沙中而無法脫困，前往時應將車停在安全處再步行接近。作為未經實戰的防禦設施，這些碉堡呈現的是本土決戰準備在北海道沿岸留下的實物痕跡。
